I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

The old self is dead — Christ's life now animates the believer.

Redemption and forgiveness are found in Christ — purchased by His blood.

For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

Through Christ's death we were reconciled — through His life we are sustained.

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Grace is in Christ — we access strength by drawing from what is in Him.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

In Christ, all human divisions are transcended — a radical equality.

For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The final security — nothing can remove us from being in Christ.
